Bizarre/Strange
Wednesday 23rd, February 2022
An almost unbelievable event was caught on CCTV of a flock of birds crashing to the ground. The incident is reported to have taken place in the city of Chihuahua on Monday 7th February 2022.
In the video you see a quiet residential street and then as if out of nowhere a huge black cloud crashed from the sky hitting the street below. Almost as quickly as it occurs the majority of the birds fly off again, quite a few of the birds don't appear to have been as lucky and from the video appear to have died during the impact with the ground.
This isn't a completely unprecedented event, a similar incident took place in on the 10th of December 2019 in Wales where approximately 200 dead birds were found on a road on the Welsh island of Anglesey.
Even with the rarity of these events being caught on camera it's believed both cases can be explained by the flock of birds trying to escape a predator. Due to unfortunate timing the flock was too close to the ground at the time which in turn ended up in the impact.
Other theories that were thrown around online to the cause of the incident in Mexico were and encounter with a UFO, 5G technology having an effect on the birds and a toxic cloud created buy wood burning stoves which the birds flew into.
