May 2024, in the skies of Celle di Bulgheria, a town celebrated for its historical significance and natural landscapes, became the backdrop for a unidentified aerial phenomenon. Local resident Anna Ida Guida managed to photograph what appears to be a metallic, saucer shaped object hovering overhead. This sighting has since captured the imagination and curiosity of locals.
Guida, who captured the images from her balcony, shared her experience on Facebook, “I took a picture outside my balcony, actually two, at the same time, in one there is nothing and the other is this posted, can anyone tell me what it is?”, her post continued to detail that while she took the photographs, her attention was on the sky, not the phone screen, adding, “Me, while I didn’t see anything, I wasn’t looking at my phone but at the sky, because it was a picture made enough to show time to my boyfriend”.
The second of the two photographs she snapped clearly shows the mysterious object, whereas the first reveals only an empty sky. This peculiar occurrence has prompted a slew of theories about the nature of the object, ranging from the dismissive suggestion of a stray black plastic bag caught in the wind, to the more sensational possibility of an extraterrestrial craft.
