Reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) hovering near nuclear power plants in India have sparked intrigue and speculation among the public and experts alike. Witnesses, including law enforcement officials, have recounted witnessing strange phenomena, prompting concerns over security and safety.

According to Indian law enforcement agencies, approximately a dozen incidents involving unknown aircraft have been reported near the Kudankulam nuclear power plant on the southern tip of India and the Madras nuclear power plant near Kalpakkam on the east coast. Police sub-inspector Syed Abdul Kader, who works in the technical wing of the Tirunelveli office, claimed to have captured footage of these mysterious objects.

"I am more than 100 per cent sure what I saw were UFOs", said Kader. "The way it stood still, the way it made zigzag movements and the speed in which it disappeared... all were different".

Kader's testimony is bolstered by former Director General of Police Pratip V. Philip, who reportedly photographed a UFO on the Muttukadu seashore near Chennai. These accounts have heightened concerns, particularly as they coincide with observations made over several weeks along the Neelankarai-Mahabalipuram coastline.

Khader's observations in 2023, coupled with Philip's sighting, underscore the seriousness of these incidents. Despite the attention they've garnered, Indian authorities have remained silent on the matter, leaving the public and UFO community eager for explanations.

The geographical correlation of these sightings, spanning from the southern tip to the east coast of India, raises questions about the nature and origin of these unidentified objects. The potential implications of UFOs near nuclear facilities also prompt concerns regarding national security and safety.

"These sightings have attracted the attention of the public and UFO experts, prompting discussions and speculation about the nature and origin of these unidentified objects", the report stated.
