A luminous blue glow, reminiscent of a flickering gas flame materialised on the staircase below, gradually taking the shape of a man's arm, hip, and upper leg. Transfixed in disbelief, the witness watched as the ghostly figure ascended the stairs before suddenly halting, then turning and descending back into the depths of the castle.
