Earthquake Felt In County Donegal Overnight

The Irish National Siesmic Network (INSN) has confirmed that a 2.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in County Donegal in the early hours of Saturday the 6th of May 2023.
The earthquake of magnitude 2.5 occurred just after 1.30am at a depth of approximately 5km near Glenveagh National Park.
The Irish National Siesmic Network (INSN) has received reports that the earthquake was felt throughout Donegal and that the earthquake was recorded by seismic stations across Ireland.
The INSN is asking people who felt this morning's event to make a report on its website which can be found below.
