Predictions and Prophecies for 2022
Bizarre/Strange
Tuesday 28th, December 2021
2021 was a year to remember with Covid 19 dominating much of any and all news that was spread by TV, radio, paper or just in gossip, if you were lucky enough to see people.
As we move to the end of 2021 with just a few days left we look forward to 2022 and what it may possibly have in store for the world and what better way than to look at some predictions from some 'prophets'. There are a few to consider and with that in mind we're going to look at Nostradamus (Prophet of Doom), Baba Vanga and Old Moore's Almanac (a magazine, not a person).
Nostradamus has given us many predictions over the years through his book Les Prophéties in 1555 and there is no change for 2022, so we'll take the main four for 2022.
1) Increased cost of living and cannibalism - "So high the price of wheat/That man is stirred/His fellow man to eat in his despair."
2) Growth in Artificial Intelligence - "The Moon in the full of night over the high mountain/The new sage with a lone brain sees it/By his disciples invited to be immortal/Eyes to the south. Hands in bosoms, bodies in the fire."
3) Growth in digital currencies - "The copies of gold and silver inflated/Which after the theft were thrown into the lake/At the discovery that all is exhausted and dissipated by the debt/All scripts and bonds will be wiped out"
4) Droughts and floods - "For forty years the rainbow will not be seen/For forty years it will be seen every day/The dry earth will grow more parched/And there will be great floods when it is seen."
The next few predictions come from Baba Vanga who was born in a village at the foot of a volcanic mountain range in the Ottoman Empire. She died at the age of 85 in 1996, not before leaving many predictions behind for people to puzzle over for years to come.
1) She says that many cities will face water shortages which will lead to political consequences as alternative solutions are found and used.
2) A new pandemic will be thrown upon the world with its origins starting in Siberia where the virus was frozen in ice and due to the melting ice the virus is released.
3) An alien invasion of Earth which involves an asteroid as part of the invasion.
4) A virtual reality takeover, assumptions here would be virtual reality pushed more into the consumer market.
5) Famine in India due to a drop in temperature which will see a series of attacks on crops by locusts.
6) Tsunamis in Australia, intense floods in parts of Asia and more earthquakes globally.
The magazine Old Moore's Almanac believes there will be a revolution for China and North Korea, a second pandemic and a female Taoiseach. Below are few of the predictions from the magazine.
1) A woman is gearing up and getting her alliances in order to become the first female Taoiseach within the next three years.
2) Further extreme weather, a landslide, a giant wave, earthquakes, a heatwave, a drought, and a large amount of snow.
3) A second pandemic, which will be unrelated to Covid-19.
4) Europe will see a return to terrorist attacks.
5) News on the fate of Malaysia's flight MH370.
