Once In A Life Time Comet Approaching Earth, First Time in 50,000 Years

A bright green comet is on it's way to zip past earth for the first time in 50,000 years.
The comet was first spotted by NASA in March 2022 when it was inside the orbit of Jupiter.
The comet will be closet to earth on the 2nd of February and will be visible with binoculars as a small green glow in the Northern Hemisphere.
NASA said in a blog,
The comet is known as C/2023 E3 (ZTF) and will pass the sun before making it's way to pass Earth with a closest point being 42 million kilometres away from our planet.

"Comets are notoriously unpredictable, but if this one continues its current trend in brightness, it'll be easy to spot,"
"It's just possible it could become visible to the unaided eye under dark skies,"
