3 Additional Monkeypox Cases in Ireland - Latest Update from Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) - 9th November 2022

There have been 3 additional confirmed cases of monkeypox in Ireland the HPSC has said in their latest update on the spread of monkeypox since the last update on the 12th of October 2022.
These 3 additional confirmed cases beings the total of confirmed monkeypox cases from 207 on the 2nd of November 2022 to 210 on the 9th of November 2022.
Again the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has stated that the cases are not unexpected following the presence of monkeypox cases in the UK and many European countries.
The Public Health teams are following up each case and contacting close contacts of confirmed cases where required.
