Scientists Find Unexplained Series Of Punctured Holes In Atlantic Ocean Seabed
Bizarre/Strange
Wednesday 27th, July 2022
Scientists have found an organised series of holes punched into the sea floor in the Atlantic Ocean while exploring a submerged mountain range.
NOAA Ocean Exploration reported, "We observed several of these sublinear sets of holes in the sediment. These holes have been previously reported from the region, but their origin remains a mystery,".
"While they look almost human made, the little piles of sediment around the holes make them seem like they were excavated by ... something."
The discovery was made on Saturday the 23rd of July 2022, the photos captured show punctures in the sea floor in a straight line.
The public have been asked for their opinion on what could have caused these holes, as of yet there has been no cause identified.
