Noah Donohoe Disappearance 'confession' Claim
Disappearance
Tuesday 29th, June 2021
A "confession" in relation to the disappearance of Noah Donohoe has come to light after it's been claimed that a prisoner "confessed" to another inmate who then passed this information onto independent investigators for the Donohoe family who then provided a "detailed" account of the interview to police and the coroner, both are claimed to be "assessing the information". This "confession" claimed that Noah was abducted off the street and murdered.
Noah Donohoe left his home in the Ormeau Road area on Sunday June 21st 2020 at around 5.30pm, he was on his black Apollo bike.
Noah had told his mother (Fiona Donohoe) that he was going to meet friends at Cavehill Country Park and had arranged to check in with his mother at 6.30pm. When Noah failed to contact his mother at the arranged time she became concerned. A friend drove Noah's mother to the north Belfast park but there was no sign of Noah. Noah's mother then contacted the PSNI and a missing person appeal was launched.
Over the following days from the appeal being launched volunteers helped with the search effort, CCTV at a domestic premises on Northwood Road area had recorded what would become the last confirmed sighting of Noah.
Eye witnesses said they had seen a young naked boy cycling a bike in the area but said that they thought it was a "Father's day prank" and didn't think anything further of it at the time.
Noah's green backpack was later recovered which contained his laptop as well as a copy of the book Twelve Rules for Life by Jordan B. Peterson. Noah's bike and mobile phone were also recovered. His khaki green North Face coat and grey sweat shorts have never been recovered.
Six days after going missing Noah's body was found in a storm drain close to the M2 by specialist searchers, his body was found 950 metres inside the storm drain.
A post-mortem determined that Noah had died as a result of drowning and did not suffer any serious head injury, it was suggested at one stage that Noah fell off his bike causing a head injury which could have confused him, this situation was ruled out after the results of the post-mortem.
