In 2014 over Papua New Guinea a fast moving fireball exploded and as it turns out from released a US Space Command (USSC) memo which in turn was based on a study which took place in 2019, the object that exploded originated from outside our solar system.
The object was a a meteorite measuring 0.45 metres in size which is reported to have hit the earth's atmosphere at 130,000 miles per hour.
Based on the known trajectory and speed of the object it's widely believed to a high degree that it came from, "the deep interior of a planetary system or a star in the thick disk of the Milky Way galaxy".
There has been some interest around this after the revelation that the object predates the discovery of 'Oumuamua' a large space rock that was discovered in 2017 which up until now was considered to be the first detection of an object from interstellar space coming into our solar system.
