The Irish Connection - UFO Sightings and a Portal Theory in the Midlands

Recent reports of unidentified flying objects near military installations in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany have drawn significant attention. While officials stress that there is no evidence to suggest these sightings pose a threat, some believe the unexplained activity could be linked to extraterrestrial reconnaissance. Irish UFO researcher Carl Nally has even proposed that Ireland itself might play a role in these mysterious occurrences.
Over the past two months, sightings of unusual objects have been reported near sensitive military sites, leaving officials baffled. The US Department of Defense has stated that it cannot identify the origin or operators of the objects, prompting both the White House and the FBI to issue statements. One White House official reassured the public, saying, “We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or a public safety threat, or have a foreign nexus”. Despite these assurances, the lack of identification has fuelled speculation.
Carl Nally, who represents the group UFO and Paranormal Research Ireland, remains sceptical of the official explanation that these objects are drones. Nally questioned why no military action had been taken to confirm their nature, stating, “You would imagine that, when anything appears over a military base, a military helicopter would go up and investigate them, but they haven’t done that. They call them drones. Are they drones or UFOs? They would have identified them by now if they were drones - even just by shooting one of them down to see what it is. But they haven’t done that, and that leads us to believe that, possibly, it could be UFOs again”. This comment alone potentially shows a gap of knowledge in military procedure and the rules of engagement, even taking this possible gap of knowledge away there is no mention of the clear and obvious fact that, maybe, just maybe officials know exactly what the drones, or whatever you want to call them are but just don't want to say.
Adding to the mystery, Nally has suggested that Ireland could play a key role in the recent sightings. He claims that a portal used by extraterrestrials to enter and leave Earth may be located in the Irish midlands, specifically between Athlone and Slane. This theory is based on patterns in recent Irish sightings, which Nally believes align with global increases in UFO activity. “It’s very peculiar that it’s happening in a lot of places at the same time”, he noted. “We’re not used to that on this side of the world. At some point, they will make themselves known, and why not now?”. Could the talk of portals be hint at a cornerstone to the new book in the works by Nally?!
The notion of such a portal remains unproven, but Nally’s comments come as reports of UFOs near military bases increase globally. He believes the close proximity of sightings to both military and nuclear facilities suggests extraterrestrial observation of human technological capabilities. “It seems to be some kind of observation that’s going on at this point in time, and it seems to have increased, without a shadow of a doubt, and you would wonder”, he added.
However, more down to earth explanations exist. It's plausible that the drones observed in the United States could be part of a highly classified project to test advanced drone swarm technology. By conducting these tests under the natural cover of darkness, military developers might be evaluating how a swarm of unmanned aerial vehicles can operate covertly and autonomously. This possibility aligns with the cutting-edge advancements in drone technology being pursued by various nations, including the United States.
Despite these competing theories, scepticism remains. There is no concrete evidence linking the sightings to extraterrestrial activity, and officials have not confirmed that other explanations, such as classified technology or natural phenomena, can be ruled out. The lack of identification does, however, leave room for speculation, especially among UFO researchers.
While the idea of alien visitation may sound alarming, Nally appears untroubled by the prospect. Comparing an extraterrestrial threat to other risks facing humanity, he said, “If you put that [an alien invasion] on one side of the scales and AI [artificial intelligence] on the other, I’d be more concerned about AI”.
Nally, who has co-authored three books on UFOs, including Circle of Deceit, continues to explore these questions in his work, with a fourth book currently underway.
As it stands, the mystery of the unexplained sightings remains unresolved. Officials have not confirmed whether these objects are drones, UFOs, or something else entirely. While theories like Nally’s about portals and extraterrestrial reconnaissance add intrigue, they lack definitive evidence.
We're sure with time that the true, most probable, and down to earth source of these drones will come to light.
