Spirits and Warren Coates at McConnell’s Distillery for First Halloween Event
Events/Upcoming Shows
Thursday 24th, October 2024
McConnell’s Irish Whisky is set to mark Halloween with a spine-chilling event at its new home in Crumlin Road Gaol, North Belfast. On Thursday, 31st October, guests will experience an exclusive evening combining the history of McConnell’s whisky with paranormal tales of one of Belfast’s most haunted sites.
The event is being held in collaboration with the Northern Ireland Paranormal Research Association, a leading organisation in the field of paranormal investigations. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Crumlin Road Gaol’s A-Wing, guided by experienced paranormal investigator Warren Coates, whose work has taken him to some of Northern Ireland’s most notoriously haunted locations, including Springhill House in Moneymore and Clifton House in Belfast.
Two Paranormal Experiences
The Halloween event offers two separate experiences. The first is the Paranormal Signature Tour of McConnell’s Distillery, led by Warren Coates. The tour will allow guests to learn about the heritage of McConnell’s Irish Whisky while exploring the gaol’s haunted A-Wing. Coates, with decades of ghost-hunting experience, will share eerie stories and guide visitors through the prison’s hidden history, which may include encounters with its lingering “spirits.”
For those looking to dive deeper into the world of the paranormal, the second part of the evening will feature an immersive Paranormal Q&A Session. The session, hosted by broadcaster Robin Elliott, will allow guests to hear stories from Coates’ investigations and explore theories behind unexplained phenomena. Coates will discuss spirit energy and share insights into the mysteries of ghostly encounters, all within the atmospheric surroundings of one of Belfast’s most haunted landmarks.
Guests can choose to participate in both experiences, with tickets priced at £35 (€41) for the full event, which includes a welcome drink of McConnell’s Brew. For those interested only in the Q&A session, tickets are available at £15 (€18).
The event offers a unique blend of history, mystery, and whisky, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking a memorable Halloween experience in Northern Ireland.
Tickets are available for purchase on McConnell’s Irish Whisky website, with spaces expected to fill quickly. The event promises a night of supernatural intrigue set in one of Belfast’s most iconic and eerie locations.
