Netflix is set to release a new paranormal docuseries, Investigation Alien, on 8th of November 2024. The series, which has been in development for some time, aims to explore the possibility of non-human intelligence interacting with humans on Earth.
The show is led by George Knapp, Chief Investigator for 8 News Now, and a well-known UFO reporter. In the series, Knapp addresses questions surrounding the existence of UFOs, shifting the focus from whether they are real to understanding the larger implications of their presence. "We need to get beyond that obvious question: are UFOs real to what really matters. Why are they here?", Knapp states in the series trailer. "We can handle it, can’t we?"
The trailer offers a glimpse into some of the themes that Investigation Alien will explore, including the role of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). The AARO is a governmental body tasked with investigating Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), which have been the subject of growing public and official interest in recent years.
According to Netflix’s description, Investigation Alien is a “paranormal docuseries [where] renowned UFO reporter George Knapp investigates new evidence, interviews an array of experts, and meets with emerging witnesses who are finally willing to go on the record”. The series promises to offer new testimony from individuals who have been reluctant to speak publicly until now.
As interest in UFOs and UAP continues to grow, Investigation Alien aims to provide fresh insights into the mysteries surrounding these phenomena.
This is the second ufo, alien related documentary like show to be released on Netflix in the space of a week or so, with The Manhattan Alien Abduction being released on the 30th of October 2024.
