Ireland Report / Story
Part six in a series of articles dedicated to the reported events of a haunting in south Dublin. There are a number of events that occurred in a single property in the mid 1990's in south Dublin. With one incident it might have been brushed off, but the many events experienced in the house pulls on even the most level headed person's imagination.

If you haven't read the first four parts, you can read them at the links at the bottom of this article. This is a never before told story which has come to us directly from the primary witness after many years of deciding if they should tell their story. The names of the family involved and exact location of the property have been changed as other residents now live in the property, most probably unaware of the previous experiences at the house.

We have broken the account down into multiple articles to make it easier to digest and to allow for more of the experiences to come back to the witness as they continue to share with us over a period of time.

The story has been recalled by the individual who at the time was approximately 12 years old when they can remember the first events that occurred.

The Watching

As we continued to talk about the events, Evan started to recall and talk about the living room in the house, the stairs came down into the room with just balusters on the stairs so there were many gaps all down the stairs.

Evan recalls sitting with his back to the stairs or with his left side facing the stairs, depending on what seat he sat on to watch television in the room.

On almost every occasion Evan describes a feeling of being watched from the stairs, just where the stairs passes the roof of the sitting room, on occasion thinking he was seeing something out of the corner of his eye on the stairs, but every time he turned to look at the stairs, there was nothing there.

Most of the times Evan described getting chills down his neck while in the living room. He asked his parents about the living room many years later and they weren't forthcoming with anything they thought was odd about the living room or the mirror at that moment in time in the house.

To note, Evan calls out that there were never any pets in the house to cause mis-identification of events.

In the living room there was a mirror that Evan didn't like, there was just something about it he never liked and made him feel uncomfortable just walking by it, this mirror would go on to feature in many other stories in other locations, Evan said he would cover them in time as we work through the different events experienced in chronological order.

This is one of the shorter experiences that add to the overall experience of the house and leads onto a more series of more notable events many years down the road but it was needed to mention the living room to show the ongoing connection to future experiences/events.
